Smiley Hey,
what kind of music do you listen to when you don´t listen to Roxette, Per (solo) or Marie (solo)?
One of my favourites at the moment:

Sometimes Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and Amy Winehouse. The new Madonna song isn't that bad, too.

From January to May, I focus in the Eurovision stuff because that's when all the countries run their national finals. ESC helps me to 'discover' some artists, like Maria Haukaas Storeng (from Norway), or BWO (Sweden). Currently, my ESC folder is 10 GB (3080 songs there, from 1956 to 2008).

The rest of the year... I listen to other kind of stuff. Quite international, as I don't like the local music scene (or the Latin music, in general terms), with a few exceptions. I don't pay attention to the radio hits either, I have a very personal taste.

I agree with you on this point.

Usually I listen to Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Europe. Most of the time their old stuff. I don't like most of the new singers or bands, but among them, I like Marron 5 and Mika.

I listen to a lot of other swedish music (Kent, Eva Dahlgren, Lambretta, The Sounds, Patrik Isaksson)  cause I'm a Pop-poprock-nerd and I found out that the scandinavian countries still do a lot of nice Popmusic....(and also a lot of rubbish dance-music (E-type, Da Buzz, BWO...) which I also like after two weeks being there listening to Rix-FM all the time).

Otherwise I also love U2 very much! Yeah...Aerosmith is cool too and Tom Petty (I swear that was not Pers fault) and some sound from the 80's.....

Haha, I kinda like BWO. I don't think they are as bad as some other acts, like Alcazar, Barbados, the schlager-queens, Måns Zelmerlöw and such. One of my fav songs is "Save My Pride". On the other hand, Kent bores me to death! They are too dark to my taste Crash!Boom!Bang!

Me too... Roll Eyes

I also like Mika, Evanescence and P!nk. And Tom Petty! As for me, it's also not Per´s fault, but I have to blame a little 10 years-old boy named Moritz who once sat down, played the piano and sung "Free fallin`". WOW! And Stevie Nicks` fault, she did some songs with Tom Petty. I love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac! She is the world's second best songwriter and singer, really! (But only the second one Wink ) And I like Annie Lennox, Tori Amos and Melissa Etheridge.

They are Swedish pop-dance bands. M. Zelmerlöw is a sugary young singer that came from the Swedish "Idol" or something like that, and girls are crazy about him. That's all I can say...

Well, when I don't listen to Roxette or Per (solo) or Marie (solo), I listen to Gyllene Tider  Laugh  Drummer Guitarist

Other than that, I don't have another group that I like as much as I like Roxette. I'm more a "songs person", if you know what I mean, i.e. I like various songs by various artists, for instance "Walking on broken glass" and "No more i love you's" by Annie Lennox, "When tomorrow comes" by Eurythmics, "Always" and "Lie to me" by Bon Jovi, "Jailhouse rock" by Elvis Preisley and others.
