New Year's Eve!!
Normally time for New Year's pledges and reviews. But not now and not here. Here I would like you to tell about your traditions on New Year's Eve. Things, you always do/eat/visit/listen to/watch on that special day.
Here in Germany, it's a tradition to watch "Dinner for one"

for some infos about it

for those, who don't know "Dinner for one"
Something I forgot, here is the link to the Swiss version:

"Twelve grapes" (Las doce uvas)
It is a Spanish tradition since 1909.
It consists of eating a grape with each bell strike at midnight of December 31. According to the tradition, that leads to a year of prosperity.
The twelve grapes are linked to the Puerta del Sol tower clock (in Madrid), where this tradition started and from where the change of year is always broadcast.

My own tradition is to listen to Abbas "Happy New Year" and normally to put off all Xmas decoration before I get home from the party....but I didn't do that this year....strange!
Another selfmade tradition....(DON'T LAUGH..okay..do if you want) we will send a ROXETTE rocket up in the sky wishing them both all the best for the New Year!

Do we miss anything? We just get special shows with bands and different sketches and such, and of course the countdown. There are no real tradtions. Only drinking, and fireworks. And drinking with fireworks. And drinking fireworks...oh no, that's not right...

Fireworks from London are apparently going on for about 11mins, at £100,000 per minute! OUCH!
If this years countdown is anything like last years, I'll smash my tv haha, it was an embarrassment!
My mum and dad and me all stand in the front room, watch big ben countdown on tv and then go to bed, or I go back online!
Nowt special here.

Oh Dinner For One... I know that show. It's bizarre, lol.
Well here we always have the fireworks display. Sydney has the biggest one, where they put fireworks all along the Harbour Bridge and in the harbour so it's very spectacular. Where we live also does it's own fireworks display at the lighthouse. We take the kids, they have a funfair and then we walk up the hill to the lighthouse and sit on a picnic rug and watch the fireworks at 9.30pm. They also have a display at midnight, but we are at home in bed long before that, lmao!
