It's not a 'new compilation'. The just put the old "Ballad" and "Pop" Hits CD's together, along the DVD. Just a way to get rid of the remaining stock...

I'd like to know what kind of retard has plans to buy the same again, just for the sake of getting a slightly reworked "The Pop Hits" sleeve... And it's the same DVD originally released on 2003 ("Really Roxette" audio out of sync and grainy videos).

I don't need it either. But I wonder why they released the "Hits" back in 2006. Now they want to go on selling "TBH" and "TPH". Do they need so many GH's out there? How useless...

im not buying anymore damn greatest hits that repeat the same songs we have with maybe afew demo's and some new songs at all from now on,
unless rox bring out a new album which if im honest cant see it happening,
but i can see yet another greatest hits in 3yrs time for the 25th annivesary!

if you are reading this mr g! we have been waiting for the past 3yrs for new fantastic stuff from roxette, we got an ok roxbox on the 20th birthday of rox, but nowt since, if you wonder why you never properly hit the uk its because you never released regualrly so people except fans gave up on roxette, i have people who want me to pirate the roxbox for them because they think roxette died ages ago, i havent nor do i intend too, but if you bring out a new roxette single with some publish in the uk you could very easyly get a good hit over here, its no use releasing old songs because to be fair we have them too many times, at the moment roxette songs are doing great on the dance floors in the uk so get your ass movin!

i know you do look at these forums sometimes so take heed! i asked about the it must have been love demo and you did that so com'on per get your finger out, you know im right as does the fans over but they have never said anything!
also per the new album you have done, when you say worldwide like you have a million times before make it worldwide, if did the right songs you could get at least a top ten hit over here in england!
if you come onto here and do want to contact me per then do so imnot afraid of saying how i feel so will tell you straight! or get me on my e-mail per_marie002@yahoo.co.uk and before anyone else trys to take the piss!! dnt bother! i think this has been along time coming and here it is!

peace and love,colby xx

I enjoyed reading your point of view.
Why can't you see a new Roxette album happening?Alot of others feel the same way also. What could some of the reasons be that Roxette won't or can't make another album?
Is it strickly because Marie might not be feeling up to recording a new Roxette album?
Is Roxette possibly unable to get a record deal or other problems with the record companies?
Or are there other reasons?
It will be very interesting to get some opinions as to why Roxette wouldn't reunite and make another album.

Also if they do bring out a new roxette single do you really feel they could have a hit in the UK?If they could have another hit that would seem like great motivation to release something new.

One at a time then

1 - It's not that Marie is not up to making the record.  The fact that she's recorded stuff solo and as Rox, in English and in Swedish would suggest she doesn't mind recording.  I think it's the hefty promotion needed to make it any sort of success of a new album that puts both of them off.

2 - They own their own label, but use EMI as distributors.  If they want a better deal, this day and age it's going to be hard to get it.

3 - Yeah, they both seem happy doing what they want.  Marie can paint, sing, do whatever she feels like, and Per is making music for himself the way he wants to, whereas if he'd done rox stuff, it'd be much more limited.  I'm not saying they can't ever make music again together, I just don't think either of them want to be dealing with the drudge of international promotion (I bet the Partycrasher promo will be short), performance, whinging of 'no tour' etc etc.  And if it doesn't interest them anymore, why force themselves into doing it?

And no.  Snowball's chance in hell of them ever having a hit again in this country.  Shitty dance covers don't count.  And the last big hit was 9 - count'em, 9 years ago.

It must be WICF. These are the UK figures:

Wish I Could Fly - #11
Stars - #56
Milk And Toast And Honey - didn't chart (some said it peaked at #89)
A Thing About You - #77

It was posted that Have A Nice Day bombed?Did it?
How about Room Service? Was it a flop? I read that HAND sold 3 million and Room Service sold 2 million.I know everything on the Internet isn't necessarily a fact. Are those numbers correct?Or even close to being correct?
If those albums did sell 3 and 2 million copies those seem to be pretty good numbers.Even thought it isn't anywhere near the sales of Look Sharp! and Joyride.
So,were their last two album considered failures?
