Happy Birthday to my darling Celina, turning 8 today!

(I got a golf toy set for children for her, mummy's idea.)

And a happy birthday to Simon! God, don't they just grow too fast...

No other news so far.

My cute honey is painting and painting and painting. Amazing what such a little kid can paint. Ok, only lines, but it looks full of love for life. My little "Licasso" Wink

So far I kept them all. I cannot throw them away. But if I never will I need a new attic to have place for all the boxes with her stuff Laugh

My mom kept the best drawings I made as a little kid and put them in a big A3 size paperbook, got them as a grown up and still treasure that book very cool! Smiley

I don't have any of my early years' paintings. My mom considered it too sentimental to collect them. "Stuff that nobody needs" she says. Sad

That's really sad, Papilia.

I think I kept some of the pics I got from the kids at the kindergarten I was working in many years ago.

It's hard to throw stuff away from your kids, lol, but after a while you have to get tough!!  Each of mine have their own 'memory box'- really just a large plastic tub that i keep their drawing, school things, special awards etc in.  I save nearly everything they do through the year, and then at the end of each year i go through it all and keep some things and throw other stuff out. As they get older it's easier because they don't change as fast as they did when they were tiny, so you don't feel compelled to keep so much.
