Haven't been able to post for ages due to site probs.  Beth had her 3rd birthday 4 weeks ago - doesn't time fly.  She had a balloon party (she had 100 balloons) and loved every minute of the day.  It was worth all the hard work just to see her happy little face.  She is still talking about it now.
Thanx Manda for your wonderful preasies - you are really good to us. 

I'm off work at the moment as I've got Rheumatoid Arthritis and its pretty awful.  I'm going to have my elbows and a hip replaced soon.  I'm really fed up with myself and feel awful about looking after Beth.  I can't lift her anymore and I can't get down on the floor to help her with her jigsaws etc.  It's making me feel like a terrible Mum.  I just hope she grows up to understand that I wanted to do things with her.

Wow, Jane, now I feel like the slack parent! LMAO! That is an awesome party you made for Beth, what a lot of work and imagination you put into it! More than I would do, it is Simon's birthday next week (8th!!!!) and I told him he can just have 3 friends over to play. But he is happy with that, I guess boys are different.  I hope all goes well for you and you feel better soon. It is awful trying to look after little ones when you're not well. I can't imagine doing what you do!

Thanks for your lovely comments Emma and Colby.  Beth really did have a great day but it really was easy to do.  I just bought a helium canister rather than giving myself a headache blowing all those ballons up.  I think when they are only 3 years old, kids are easier to please.  I wouldn't know where to start with an 8 year old boy. 
Ruby is so funny - she always comes out with these great little sayings.

It's great to hear about Julie and Junior.  Not long to go now and I bet you're really excited .  It's such a special time.

Well luckily this year Simon is easy to please. He wants a "Speed Racer" cake. At first i thought that i'd have to do something really complicated, but turns out he just wants a normal cake with icing that says SR on it. lol!!

true we have 8weeks 3 days so yeah just around the corner,im still looking forward to it,
a friend of mine and julie's has just had a adorable little girl and called her ellie-may,they both look so tired all the time,bless them,i spend so much time awake that i might make me alittle tired but not like the average joe bloggs, if you know what i mean,
people dont ask how long anymore so im excited again but when you have people every hour of everyday saying "how long til the baby arrives" it made me angry! it was like he was coming from china or somewhere! lol
we went to the hospital yesterday,there wont be anymore scans at all til he is born then a ultrasound on him and straight onto antibiotics if needs be,we cant even check if the kidney is worse!
but will let you guys know if this changes and when we are born,
we have decided to call him nathaniel reece fredriksson!

Hello all - good to see that things are well with everyone

I have just 6 weeks left here until little girl #2!    ...unless she shows earlier.  She has been head down for the last 4.5 weeks, but still room and time to move, I guess.  Or maybe she will be delivered early by c-section, depending on what my consultant finally decides.  The latest is that I have been having placenta problems, which they thought might restrict growth, and low amniotic fluid levels grrr ...headaches since day 1 with this lil one lol ...bleeding for the first 6 weeks, low hormones levels from my triple test at 16 weeks, which gave me 1:5!!!! for down's syndrome and led to an amnio (all clear, thank god!) ...then a suspected ovarian cyst ...not to mention sickness until 30 weeks  ...and now this ...or this has been going on the last couple of months.  They gave me steroid shots last week in case of an early delivery and I'm being monitored twice a week and scanned once a week, seeing my consultant at the end of each week, so I'm basically a regular at the hospital right now

Fliss, that doesn't sound too good but in the end, it will probably seem like nothing. I bet she will be a good and strong little girl!
