Honestly, I am not sure who will win the Euro 2008. Since yesterday, the Netherlands are surely among the usual suspects together with Germany, Italy still (depends on their next match) or even France, Portugal. Maybe Croatia?

Hej folks,

sorry for interrupting your talks about football (yesterday match Sweden - Greece was amazing), but my best friend and me need your help. My friend plans to travel to Freiburg, a town in Germany, on Friday. But we know very little about the town. Now we are doing our best to find out as many info about Freiburg on the net as possible. But maybe someoene of you (our lovely German fans) can recommend a cheap hostel there, or how to get there from Frankfurt. Any info would be great  Cool

Concerning a cheap hostel I can't help you cos I have never been to Freiburg for a longer holiday. But for traveling from Frankfurt to Freiburg you could chose the train but that will take between 2 (with ICE; 59€) and 5 hours (without ICE/IC/EC; about 40€). Or by plane to Basel and then by train to Freiburg (must be about 20€ (with ICE) or 14€ (without ICE/IC/EC) then)

The prices are for one person and taken from www.bahn.de
