The Gessle-thing does not surprise me too much, since his father changed their family name - I think it was Johansson - into Gessle as lille Pelle was about five years old....

Well, Marie and Per were sitting on that Ferrari and they had a ghost driver with a special mirror construction so it seems that the car was driving by itself. The were supposed to drive near a cliff and stop before the sheer. But suddenly the driver on the floor couldn't see enough to recognize the edge. He drove on and on before all people around began screaming he should stop. He driver pressed the brakes really hard, which made Per fall off the car but Marie was still tied to it. Well, the car stopped just inches before the cliff.... Everybody stayed unhurt, the rest we know.

Trivia besides the Rox-game

He visited some relatives, was supposed to take a later flight, came in really late, found no-one at the reception and took his key himself.... No-one knew he checked in so no-one searched for him right at the hotel

They write it "hej" but it sounds like "hey".

sorry for the typing mistakes! btw I know some Swedes who already write it like that (short messages and email). It's the same with dej and dig... same thing written different......

Just got the chance to have a longer conversation with a Swede this weekend and I guess he understood pretty well what I said!

And to help:

"hey" means Hi
"heyhey" or "hey då" means bye
"Jag heter..." or "Jag är..." is to introduce oneself
"Jag kommer från..." means I come from and you just have to insert the name of your country

The value of speaking Swedish and knowing about Roxette is more than you might think. I know only one word of it: "skon" (my computer won't print umlauts), which means "shoes". This is not good for two reasons:

first of all, you're not explicitly right, because "skon" actually mean A shoe, shoes are skor....
second, you don't need umlauts to write that word
third, most of the Swedes speak English, so there would be not a hint of a problem to talk to them

OK, the only thing IIIII noticed is that they both wear a ring on their left ring fingers!!!!!!!!!
