One way or another, what's the point in this attack against the song? Do you think that party wants to get some attention with this? According to the article, they are not much popular, as they only hold two seats in the government. In that case, that's their way to have some publicity!

Read this, it's so ridiculous! Switzerland: 49,000 signatures against "Satanic" song
The Eidgenössisch-Demokratische Union (EDU) submitted their petition against the Swiss Eurovision Song Contest entry "Vampires are alive" this Tuesday. The small political party, which holds only two seats on the federal level of the Swiss government, feels that the song's lyrics promote Satanism and the occult. The party gathered a total of 49,082 signatures over a two week period on their petition condemning the song. The party's secretary Thomas Feuz claimed, "The Finnish monster rockers Lordi ... opened the door to the occult and satanism at the Eurovision Song Contest."
Earlier another group, the Swiss Evangelical Alliance (SEA), sent letters to Swiss Television, DJ BoBo and Pascal Couchpin, the Swiss minister of Culture and Health, complaining that the lyrics in the song presented a danger to unstable youth who might take the song's themes too seriously. They felt the song could encourage thoughts of suicide with lyrics like "surrender your life".
This is all I have to say: what a bunch of idiots! Who could be so dumb, taking a song seriously enough to commit suicide?

The interview is also on YouTube now... But, the quality isn't the best I put it there myself, so I hope you are going to comment there. That's the best I could find. I am looking for a better quality file anyway.

The spanish songs are getting worst year by year. I don't know where do they get this "music" groups from, couse its really difficult to find someone worst than them.
Txiqui, I can't agree even more! I Love You, Mi Vida was not the best song in Misión Eurovisión (one of the longest and most tedious shows I even seen). In addition, the music was composed by Thomas G:son, the Swede that also composed the Norwegian entry, Ven A Bailar Conmigo. I don't like him, all his songs are the same latino-flavoured schlager, totally uninspired. On top of this, his song "Listen To Your Heartbeat" -that represented Sweden in 2001- is a plagiarism of Belgium 1996 (indeed, the chorus is the same tune in both). So, he has been running out of inspiration for a long time. And D'Nash (formerly known as Nash, but that name was already registered), the boyband that will represent Spain in Helsinki is one of the worst band I ever heard. They can't sing, they sound so weak (even if they are 4 voices singing together). And their dancing skills are very limited too. Did you watch the video? They hardly move, except one that is dancing all around the stage like a madman. I think the time of boybands is over. What happened to N'SYNC, Five... they belong to the 90's. The boyband formula is over (luckily). As always, they are a casting product, those guys were selected for their looks not for they singing abilities.

Hello people: I have a friend living in Sweden till August. And it would be nice if you post here when you see an article in papers/magazines. That way I can bring the info to him, in order to get the clipping. I know some appeared these days, but he had no success yet! In addition, this could be useful for more people. Thank you
