niklas explains about the recording of så nära nu, Lasse and himself were in the studio waiting for a female singer who was recommended to them by the Gyllene Tider guys, who knew her because she was singing in another band from Halmstad, Strul.
So there she came, a bit hippy-look, they talked a bit, and then they started with the she started to sing and ... they were amazed.
They worked on the song for a while and then when they were about to record it, the singer excused herself, said she had to go to the toilette. NIklas and Lasse thought she was going to smoke (secretly).
When she came back she looked somehow weird, a bit pale, but they went on. They recorded the song, the result was great.
Many years later the 3 of them talked about this day again, when she found out that they thought she had slipped away to go and smoke, she explained that actually she was so nervous that she had to run to the toilette and throw up!
The singer is called Marie Fredriksson and she is 50 today [it was written on her bday]
