yesterday I have been to her concert in Berlin. The show was great, but actually I have expected more from such a woman as Madonna is. The song list was boring. I missed so many old great songs.

well, I was not in the front, but I could see her very well. Of course it is breathtaking when she came on stage! She also looked good, but I expected so much more from her as a singer.

Too bad the show wasn't as good as expected Robbie! Great you could go & see her though...i could too (her show here on Tuesday isn't sold out), but money & job stuff is keeping me from it.

A question though, how did you like Robyn? She was the opening act right? As a Robyn fan i have to know of course!

She also looked good, but I expected so much more from her as a singer.

Her success is more based on looks than in singing abilities. And that's not new. In addition, it's said she uses some kind of playback. So, it's not 100% live. It makes sense, somehow, because she never had THE VOICE.

I saw her in Barcelona some years ago and while it was amazing, I was very impressed with the show (and actually by her voice, I thought it would be worse ) but I wouldn't go and see her again..

She's scheduled to perform in Vienna for the first time ever (or was it since early 90ies) end of September, tickets are however way too expensive for me (I thought 150 E to see Marie was way too much, how am I gonna spend almost the same for Madonna??).
In any case, the show is not sold out, and newspapers wrote that the promoters might cancel the show if they haven't sold enough tickets. As for now, the show is a loss for the promoters.

I'm fine with the DVDs, there is so much going on on the stage, you just miss it when you are in the audience.

What "kind of playback"? What I've heard is that this dancer (the one who's been with her for ages) sings almost like Madonna but better, and that it is sometimes hard to know who is singing...

I'm gonna to Vienna to watch her live for the 2:nd time
She was here in Moscow 2 years ago but she doesn't want to visit Russia this time
Anyway she's GREAT!!!
