In any group, there is a member almost unknown. This is the good Göran Fritzon, who plays the keyboards in Gyllene Tider. Yes, he is right there in this photo. Obviously you have to recognize Per, MP, Micke and Anders before thinking about Göran.

What do you think about Göran? Any interesting information about him?

Well, it's not being a succesful thread indeed Cheesy Well, I'll put something very old about the good Göran.

(Sven) Göran Fritzon, the baby of the band, was born on April 21st, 1962 in Åled (which is on the trail to Harplinge). It wasn’t until the age of thirteen that Fritte started with the piano and keyboards, and he hasn’t looked back since. He had calmed down a little since his days as "Mr. Hyperactive-Stage Dancer", but recently got fired up again during "Återtåget '96!", when he once again played the synthesizer ("IT'S NOT A SYNTHESIZER!!! It's an ORGAN!!!) like a god.
After Gyllene's 1985 break-up, Göran toured a few times and even wrote a song together with Per for Elisabeth Andreasson ("Stjärnhimmel"), but was never continually active in the music scene until Gyllene's "Ă…tertĂĄget '96!". "I was never a musician; I was just a pop star..." He had worked in Halmstad at Offset Repro as a printer/scanner, and was just about to start up his own printing "outfit" when MP called with the the news that there “might” be a Gyllene tour... He quit Offset (since they wouldn’t give him the six month leave of absence he requested), and has now started his own business, Dynam.it, with all his money from Sweden's most successful concert tour in history...

Interesting Facts:
***Rumor has it that Göran’s big dream as a child was to be either an engineer or an Indian!
***He was never formally educated at a music school (except for an organ course in Halmstad at “Hagström's Musikskola”).
***His best subjects in school were English and Maths, while he could have done better in History...
***He even plays a little guitar, but very few have been witness to it!
***He is together with Jenny, but has two children, Emma and Erik, from a previous relationship. Fritte lives in a "castle" outside Oscarström.
***Partied most of the guys during the heydays!

Lantartida, que sorpresa verte por aquĂ! Obviamente compartimos los mismos impecables gustos en lo que a la mĂşsica sueca se refiere :p

Hey everyone, I'm new here, but I've been a Roxette fan for some 16 years now (since I was 15), and now the internet has allowed me to listen to GT's music as well, and well, I've become a fan of theirs too Smiley

I was wondering, has Göran participated in any of Roxette's albums? It seems all of the other GT members have done so at one point or another: Anders plays bass in the studio and on stage, MP co-wrote Rox songs with Per, and worked in the production of the albums, and Micke has also collaborated in the studio, and has appeared in at least one video. Has Göran done anything with Roxette at all? I can't find anything on my CDs liner notes, but you never know...

Bienvenido, Ricardo. Muy agradable encontrarte aquí. Un saludo y feliz año nuevo.

I don't know but I think Göran has not participated in any of Roxette's albums. Perhaps Per thought it was not needed (Roxette always "means" that Clarence Öfwerman and eventually Mikael Bolyos play the keyboards).
