Gessle over Europe - LP/CD

- we won't get any Roxette live tracks on this cd (the only thing we got was two live songs on Sirius, thank God for that!)

Didn't really expect that either, did you really? It's a Gessle release...time for Rox again in the fall.

- 3 tracks from London will be probably the same as these from Sirius, the same with two tracks from Stockholm 1 - as for me that is just a waste of space where Per & co could have put something different from different cities.

or: wow, Per really likes those tracks from London & Stockholm the most, great to get them on an official cd as well!

only 2 songs from stockholm 1 and only 1 song from halmstad?

sorry guys don't take this personal, but I think it's so typical that everytime something gets released, a tour is announced, or whatever some fans are always saying 'oh well nice, BUT....'.

I never got that and I don't think I ever will, my first (& 2nd & 3rd) thought is always just 'great, looks good, can't wait!'.

CD that will be included with the DVD (or if it's the other way around) will not have the full concert, due to the space restrictions of a CD.

To be honest - yes, I've really expected that IMHBL/TL from Amsterdam or Stockholm 2 will be on these forthcoming CD/LPs. After they didn't record dvd on the second day in Stockholm, I thought it would be a clever idea to put at least these two rox-tracks on a live album. I was wrong.  

After all we've got a quite nice Amsterdam bootleg, two songs from Stockholm 2 from Sirius, so we shouldn't really complain, should we? :-) Autumn is coming and then we'll get some Roxette re-releases and maybe it will be the right place to look for these lost and forgotten gems.

Of course it's great to get them on CD, but I do like to complain when my vision doesn't correspond with Man's idea :-)

And now, thanks to Thomas Evensson, we know that "The Party Pleaser" & "Dangerous" from Stockholm 1 and "Church of your heart" from Stockholm 2 will be missing on live CD. At least one more song won't be on this edition, but now it's not sure which.

I think he has great plans!! But I wonder if the record company will agree....or laugh right into his face (about the "normal" price)

Saying "normal" price I suppose Per means about 200 SEK for this package, so it will be like 15 euros in euro-lands for CD/DVD pack. I do really think it's possible. Gessle wants, Gessle gets. He wanted to have PCT as his b'day present and he did it. So why not giving us live CD and DVD at normal price? :-)

And yes, the live CD is going to be great. Now let's wait for the cover.

Okay.. than he will pay the record company??? Like he paid for this tour?? Ooops..Well let's wait and see...I'm speechless how nice this guy is.
I'd pay around 25 Euros if necessary

Nope. It's not like that. Producing and releasing package with CD/DVD doesn't really cost much and EMI/Capitol pays for everything. We all know there won't be a huge promotion campaign in other countries apart from Sweden, so it won't be really expensive for record company just to put all these albums in the internet shops or on supermarkets' shelves.

I am almost sure Per paid himself for Stockholm gig's recording. So now he does what he wants with his own material. You have to also remember that Per's position in his homeland is kind of weak right now (too much of gessle will kill ya...). So if he really wants to sell a lot of copies of GOE, he has to make it special. And with this CD and extra-super DVD he does!
